Great blogs Palmer, One of the things I like about NING, the social community here is that it allows people to share and interact more than YouTube ever allowed. Look forward to more stuff!

Ghost Town review

Well, I finally got around to watching Ghost Town, and while it was not so much as a comedy as it was one of those sappy love films, it was a decent film. I loved the main ghost named Frank, who was really obnoxious and made you want to punch him, but at the same time made you want to have a drink with him.
It has a really nice moral to it, and it is a pretty funny film as well. I would recommend it to just about anyone.
This is a short review, because I really cannot find anything bad about it.… Continue

The Wackness film review

Hey guys, Palmer here, reviewing the film, The Wackness.
Yeah, you laughed huh? Well, that is the real title my friends, it is no joke. And just wait till you here the dialog that establishes that title.
For those of you whom have never heard of this film, this is what happened to that little chubby kid from the Amanda Show, Josh Peck, grew up, lost 200 pounds, and stopped filming Drake and Josh episodes.
In this film, Josh plays a teenager going through rough financial times with his family bac… Continue

Will Terminator:Salvation be everything I want?

With the next Terminator film on the way, I've got to say, it sure is looking up to be an amazing film. Judging by the trailer, it looks like the Terminator film that I always wanted to see.
Rather than another attempt at stopping Judgment Day from arriving, this is a film about the actual war between mankind and the terminators. It's shaping up to be one hell of a flick.
But what if it's not as good as it's hyped up to be. After all, when I heard all of the great reviews for Tropic Thunder, I w… Continue

Not Another Not Another Movie

Freidberg and Seltzer. The names alone haunt the souls of good men. Words can not describe the fury that I feel whenever they have the priviledge to make a movie. I've ranted about them for a long time, but this time, we may have a weapon once and for all. A little film is in production that could either be 1. The greatest, most neccesary satire since Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, or 2. It could easily fall on it's face. Who knows? It's called Not Another… Continue

Burn after Reading DVD review

Burn after Reading has gotten mixed reviews, mostly negative. Considering the fact that this film directly follows up No Country for Old Men, my favorite film of 2007, the criticism doesn't surprise me. But on it's own merits, Burn After Reading is a very entertaining film. The movie's about an analyst, Osborne Cox (played by John Malkovich) who resorts to writing a memoir after being fired. His wife (Tilda Swinton) is sleeping with George Clooney's character and wants to secure a possible divor… Continue

Hi folks!

I know I haven't posted on here as much I did when I first joined. However, after being a member here for a good long time, I'm hoping I've earned your guys' trust. Especially since I need your guys' help with something, please.

You see, back in August I entered a contest, the "Search for the Leader of the Post-2012 World." While I knew that it was all just a part of the online virital marketing for that stupid 2012 movie, it seemed like a heck of a lot of fun, so I entered. At the e… Continue

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie Review

We're nearing the end of the summer movie craze, and only a select few movies this summer were actually great. Star Trek and Up were really the only BIG summer movies that have garnered universal praise. I, with my new job at a movie theater, have seen every mainstream release since May 29th (except for Imagine That, missed that one). So it was a breath of fresh air to see that the sixth Harry Potter lived up to the hype.

I grew up watching the Harry Potter movies, and I have watched them evolv… Continue
