I saw it at midnight last night. It was okay- I had to sit in the theator for 3 hours waiting though. It would have been worse if I didn't have popcorn (thank the lord for free refills). I would still like to see what you have to say about harry potter though.

I enjoyed it a lot. For character driven scenes and storytelling, it was the best Harry Potter yet, though for spectacle and adventure, probably the weakest. I was pretty disappointed at how few magical battle scenes there were and everything but it was a very emotional and powerful film with a good story, and was damn funny!

Compared to the book the movie was...okay but just looking at the movies by themselves I think this one was more about the characters, how they've grown up, and how Harry is dealing with his hormones and some old guy who wants to kill him.

I was actually pretty geared for this movie, but well, it basically sucked. It was just so empty. And nothing really happened until the last 30 minutes. Plus I hate how they just had Snape practically say "Oh yeah, I'm the Half-Blood Prince" like they forgot to put that in there.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie Review

We're nearing the end of the summer movie craze, and only a select few movies this summer were actually great. Star Trek and Up were really the only BIG summer movies that have garnered universal praise. I, with my new job at a movie theater, have seen every mainstream release since May 29th (except for Imagine That, missed that one). So it was a breath of fresh air to see that the sixth Harry Potter lived up to the hype.

I grew up watching the Harry Potter movies, and I have watched them evolv… Continue
